Our Care Team
Whispering Pines Assisted Living Inc is supported by a dedicated, in-house care team committed to reliable, personalized support. All nurses, home health aides, and care staff are direct employees of Whispering Pines Assisted Living, never pool or temporary staff, ensuring consistent care and trusted relationships with residents.
Our licensed nurses manage medications, coordinate medical appointments and follow-ups, arrange transportation, complete customer assessments, and oversee ongoing health needs. Their hands-on involvement helps residents feel safe, supported, and well cared for every day.
Medical and Daily Living Support
Residents have access to comprehensive, on-site medical and daily living support. A 24-hour home health aide is always available to assist with medications, bathing, dressing, grooming, redirection, supervision, and encouragement. This around-the-clock presence provides peace of mind for residents and families alike.
Blue Stone Physicians offer convenient in-home doctor visits upon request, reducing the need for outside travel, especially during winter months. In the near future, Whispering Pines Assisted Living plans to add a psychiatrist who will make house calls as needed, expanding access to specialty and behavioral health care.
Activities and Enrichment
Our engaging activities program is led by two full-time Activities Coordinators and supported by four Activities Helpers. Weekly activities include crafts, bingo, exercise programs, shopping trips, concerts, movies, hay rides, bowling, picnics, luaus, and community outings such as trips to the zoo, Coon Rapids Dam, and the county fair. Last year, several residents entered items in the county fair, and won ribbons.
Each resident meets individually with an Activities Coordinator to assess personal interests. If an activity of particular interest isn’t offered on-site, we help residents access programs in the community to ensure meaningful engagement for everyone.
